Tour Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once full payment of the tour fee has been received. Tour places are limited and bookings are confirmed strictly on a first-paid basis.
 

Tour prices cover the guided tour experience and any activities, meals, or transport specifically included in the itinerary.
 

International flights and accommodation are not included unless explicitly stated. Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights, and paying for their own accommodation, which will arranged by White Tiger. 
 

Payment instructions will be provided at the time of booking.

2. Minimum Group Size

Tours require a minimum number of participants to operate.

 

If the minimum group size is not reached, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the tour. In this case, any payments made for the tour will be fully refunded.
 

The organiser is not responsible for costs incurred by guests in relation to flights, accommodation, or other travel arrangements

3. Cancellations by Guests

If a guest cancels their booking:
 

• More than 30 days before the tour – full refund

• 14–30 days before the tour – 50% refund

• Less than 14 days before the tour – no refund
 

Refunds may be offered at the organiser’s discretion if a cancelled place can be filled by another participant.

4. Changes to Itinerary

The organiser reserves the right to modify the itinerary if necessary due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. These may include:

• weather conditions

• venue closures

• transport disruptions

• public safety considerations

Where possible, reasonable alternatives will be provided.

5. Weather

Tours operate in most weather conditions. Hong Kong’s climate can include heat, humidity, and rain.
 

Activities may be modified or rescheduled where severe weather warnings are issued (such as typhoon or rainstorm signals). Safety considerations will always take priority.

6. Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the tour. The tours involve a significant amount of walking in urban environments.
 

Participants are also responsible for:
 

• ensuring they hold valid passports and any required travel documents

• arranging their own travel insurance

• safeguarding their personal belongings
 

The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

7. Alcohol Consumption

Some tours may include visits to restaurants, breweries, taprooms, or bars.

Participants must drink responsibly and comply with all local laws and venue policies. The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant from the tour if their behaviour endangers themselves or others or disrupts the group.
 

No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

8. Liability

The organiser acts as a guide and facilitator only and is not responsible for the actions or services of third-party providers such as restaurants, bars, ferries, transport operators, or attractions.
 

By booking a tour, participants acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and agree that the organiser is not liable for injury, illness, loss, delay, or inconvenience arising during the tour except where required by applicable law.

9. Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, and travel disruptions.

10. Late Arrival

Tours depart at the scheduled time. Participants who arrive late may miss part of the itinerary.
 

The organiser is not responsible for costs incurred by guests in catching up with the group or joining the tour after departure.

11. Force Majeure

The organiser shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is due to events beyond reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to:
 

• severe weather (including typhoons and rainstorm warnings)

• natural disasters

• transport disruptions

• government restrictions or border controls

• public demonstrations or civil unrest

• venue closures or operational restrictions
 

Where such circumstances occur, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to adjust the itinerary or reschedule activities where possible. Refunds are not guaranteed where costs have already been incurred.

12. Photography and Media

During the tour, photographs or short video recordings may occasionally be taken for promotional or documentation purposes.
 

By participating in the tour, guests consent to the use of such images on the organiser’s website, social media, or promotional materials.
 

Guests who prefer not to appear in photographs should notify the organiser at the start of the tour and this will be respected.

13. Medical Conditions

Participants are responsible for informing the organiser in advance of any medical conditions, injuries, mobility limitations, or dietary restrictions that may affect their ability to participate in the tour.
 

While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such circumstances, the organiser cannot guarantee that all activities, meals, venues, or walking routes will be suitable for every participant.

14. Guest Conduct and Local Laws

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow guests, the organiser, and members of the public.
 

Guests must comply with all local laws, venue rules, and safety instructions throughout the tour.
 

Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund.

15. Right to Refuse Participation

The organiser reserves the right to refuse participation in the tour, or to remove a participant from the tour, if their behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or likely to negatively affect the experience of other participants.
 

No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and paying for a tour, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
